Trash & Recycle Rules

Issue: Trash and Bulk items left curbside!
 

Trash and Recycle Schedule:

• Curbside trash pickup by Waste Management is every Wednesday and Saturday.

• Recycling is scheduled for Wednesday only.

Trash Container and Recycle Bins may be placed curbside the evening before or
morning of pick-up.
 

No containers, trash, bulk items or vegetation shall be left out at curbside after
regular pick-up has occurred particularly over the weekend.
 

Bulk Pick-Up: If you need to request bulk pick-up for items that cannot be
placed inside the trash container or vegetation from landscaping, you the
homeowner must arrange for scheduled pickup and items are not to be placed
curbside until the evening before the scheduled pick-up date.
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to remove items from the curbside if not
picked up.
 

Trash containers and Recycle Bins shall not be stored in any way visible from
outside of your home (front or side).

There is a Solid Waste Authority Center located in Abacoa where regularly
recycled items as well as household items like paint, solvents and other
corrosives can be taken to and discarded properly and for free!
